Sales & Marketing Executive

PP Solar is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, identifying customer requirements, presenting suitable solar solutions, and converting prospects into customers.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and negotiation skills, a customer-focused approach, and a passion for renewable energy and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads through field visits, referrals, digital leads, networking, and other channels.

• Identify and understand customer requirements for solar energy solutions.

• Explain solar products, system benefits, pricing, savings, and ROI to prospective customers.

• Conduct site visits and coordinate with technical teams for system assessment and quotations.

• Prepare and present commercial proposals and follow up with prospective customers.

• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.

• Maintain regular follow-ups throughout the sales cycle and convert qualified leads into orders.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.

• Coordinate with installation, operations, finance, and customer-support teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Stay updated on solar products, market trends, competitors, government policies, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

• 1–3 years of experience in sales or business development.

• Experience in the solar, electrical, renewable energy, construction, or related industry will be an advantage.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Self-motivated and target-oriented with a willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• A valid driving licence and own vehicle may be preferred for field-sales roles.

• It is a Both Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 6 months - 6+ years Experience.
