The Sales Manager – MHE (Forklifts) is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for material handling equipment, including forklifts, warehouse equipment, and accessories. This role involves managing the sales team, developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in a competitive market.
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company revenue and market share targets for MHE products.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
Forecast sales and prepare monthly/quarterly/annual budgets and targets.
Identify prospective clients and new business opportunities within target industries (manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, FMCG, etc.).
Lead sales presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to close deals profitably.
Manage, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Set performance goals, conduct regular sales reviews, and provide feedback and training.
Coordinate with marketing to execute sales campaigns and lead generation activities.
Build enduring relationships with existing and potential clients.
Address client queries and resolve issues relating to product, delivery, pricing, or after-sales service.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Coordinate with operations, service, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution and delivery.
Prepare and present weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports to senior management.
Monitor sales metrics (pipeline, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, revenue per product, etc.)
Explore and penetrate new geographic territories and industry segments.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
Minimum 5–8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in MHE, forklifts, industrial equipment, or related B2B equipment sales.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Experience leading or managing a sales team.
