We are looking for a high-energy, strategic Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts and expand our market footprint.
Role Overview
As the Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind revenue growth. You aren’t just selling a service; you are selling reliability and efficiency. You will identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and build a high-performing sales pipeline that aligns with Freightrek’s ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and acquire new corporate clients, SME accounts, and e-commerce partners to expand our domestic and international reach.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement data-driven sales strategies to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Account Management: Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and identify upselling opportunities.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging market demands to keep Freightrek competitive.
Lead Management: Oversee the entire sales lifecycle—from cold calling and lead generation to contract negotiation and final closing.
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure promised delivery standards are met.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Experience: 3–5 years of proven sales experience specifically in the Courier, Cargo, or Freight Forwarding industry.
Networking: Strong existing portfolio of corporate clients and logistics contacts.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills; ability to communicate complex logistics solutions simply.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
Mobility: Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
