Job Title: Sales Manager – Mechanical Engineer

Location: PCMC / Bhosari (Work Location: In-person)

Experience Required: Minimum 8–10 years in Technical Sales

Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum 75% in 10th Exam)

Other Requirements:

• Must own a Bike / 2-wheeler with a valid Driving License.

• Bond of 1 year is compulsory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve growth and sales targets.

• Conduct regular visits to existing and prospective clients to understand their technical/mechanical requirements.

• Respond promptly to customer calls, mails, and visits.

• Prepare and send quotations, cost estimations, and proposals for customer enquiries.

• Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the company’s customer base and ensure strong market presence.

• Present sales, revenue, expenses reports, and accurate forecasts to management.

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing technical and business solutions.

• Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, references, and exhibitions.

• Negotiate and close deals ensuring timely payment collection from clients.

• Coordinate with production, service, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

• Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies, and report insights to management.

• Maintain proper customer database, enquiry records, and follow-up schedules in ERP/CRM.

• Provide training and guidance to the sales team for improving performance and technical understanding.

• Ensure repeat business by offering after-sales support and maintaining excellent customer rapport.

• Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure.

• Strong business sense and industry expertise (Mechanical / Material Handling Equipment preferred).

• Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
