Job Summary A Sales Executive in a jewellery store is responsible for handling premium customer sales, achieving showroom targets, providing excellent customer service, and guiding junior sales staff. The role requires strong product knowledge of gold, diamond, silver, and gemstone jewellery along with relationship-building skills to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Attend and assist customers in selecting jewellery products
Achieve individual and showroom sales targets
Explain product details, pricing, schemes, and offers to customers
Handle high-value sales transactions professionally
Maintain strong customer relationships and follow-up for repeat sales
Support visual merchandising and showroom display management
Guide and train junior sales executives when required
Coordinate with billing, inventory, and merchandising teams
Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and discipline on the showroom floor
Stay updated with jewellery trends, designs, and customer preferences
Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally
Requirements & Skills
Minimum 1–5 years of experience in jewellery retail sales
Good knowledge of gold, diamond, bridal, and gemstone jewellery
Strong communication and customer-handling skills
Sales-oriented and target-driven approach
Presentable personality and professional behaviour
Basic computer knowledge and billing software understanding
Ability to manage VIP and premium customers effectively
