Job Role: Business Loan Sales Officer

About the Role

FLT is looking for a dynamic Business Loan Sales Officer to drive acquisition and disbursals in the SME/MSME segment. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and closing business loan cases ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹50 Lakhs for self-employed, traders, manufacturers, and small business owners.

This is a field + Office mixed work with daily market visits and rare office visit if needed. Own bike is mandatory and petrol allowance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Identify and generate leads through market visits, referrals, CA/Direct Selling Agents, local markets, and digital sources.

- Achieve monthly targets for logins, sanctions, and disbursals within the ₹50K to ₹50L ticket size.

- Pitch FLT business loan products - unsecured/overdraft/CC - based on customer need.

Customer Management

- Conduct field visits to understand customer business, cash flow, and funding requirements.

- Explain loan features, interest rates, processing fees, eligibility, and documentation to prospects.

- Build long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

Must Have:

- Own bike with valid driving license

- Willingness for daily field visits across assigned territory

- 1-4 years experience in business loan/SME loan/LAP sales in Bank/NBFC

- Basic knowledge of financials, bank statements, CIBIL, and credit basics

Good to Have:

- Existing market connections with traders, manufacturers, or local business clusters

- Knowledge of local language + local market of Chennai/TN
