Job Description – Sales Executive (Insurance Sales)

We are looking for a dynamic, target-driven, and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our growing insurance sales team. The ideal candidate should be a fresher or have up to 1 year of experience in Life Insurance, Term Insurance, Health Insurance, or other Protection Insurance Products. Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in sales are encouraged to apply. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, advising customers on suitable insurance solutions, achieving sales targets, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads through outbound calling, digital channels, referrals, and customer databases.

• Understand customer financial goals and recommend suitable Life Insurance, Term Insurance, and related protection products.

• Conduct customer needs analysis and provide personalized insurance solutions.

• Drive end-to-end sales from prospecting to policy issuance.

• Maintain high conversion rates through effective sales presentations and objection handling.

• Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to improve retention and cross-selling opportunities.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales KPIs.

• Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.

• Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and internal company policies.

• Stay updated on insurance products, market trends, and competitor offerings.

• Participate in training programs to develop product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling skills.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (preferred).

• Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with experience in any of the following will have an added advantage:

  • Life Insurance

  • Term Insurance

  • Health Insurance

  • General Insurance (preferred)

  • BFSI Sales

  • Financial Services Sales
