Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development

  • Generate new enquiries and handle existing clients.

  • Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, and negotiations for order finalization.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.

  1. Estimation & Costing

  • Study client drawings, RFQs, BOQs, and technical specifications.

  • Prepare cost estimations for Heavy Fabrication, Sheet Metal, and Drilling works.

  • Calculate material, machining, fabrication, welding, finishing, and overhead costs.

  • Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable quotations.

  1. Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with Production, Design, and Purchase departments.

  • Provide clients with technical clarifications and finalize requirements.

  • Track order execution and provide timely updates to clients.

  1. Market Research & Strategy

  • Conduct competitor analysis and track industry trends.

  • Identify and develop new clients and business opportunities.

  • Suggest strategies to management for sales growth and cost optimization.


Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of estimation and costing in Heavy Fabrication, Sheet Metal, and Drilling operations.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (AutoCAD/SolidWorks preferred).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

  • Experience in client interaction and techno-commercial handling.


Qualification & Experience:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (mandatory).

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in Sales & Estimation (preferably in Fabrication / Engineering Industry).
