PosiƟ on Overview -
Sales Engineer will be a seasoned, results-driven expert responsible for developing and execuƟ ng
high-impact sales strategies to expand our market share in the O&G filtraƟ on and separaƟ on domain.
This role requires deep technical experƟ se in process engineering and established relaƟ onships with
key decision-makers in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), major O&G corporaƟ ons, EPC contractors,
across India and globally.
Key Roles and ResponsibiliƟ es
Strategic Sales & Market Expansion: Develop and implement effecƟ ve sales plans to achieve
and exceed annual sales targets.
Technical Sales & SoluƟ ons: Engage in complex technical discussions with clients, performing
system analysis and interpreƟ ng data to propose value-added, customized filtraƟ on and
separaƟ on soluƟ ons.
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relaƟ onships with criƟ cal
clients and senior stakeholders within the O&G sector, ensuring high levels of client
saƟ sfacƟ on and repeat business.
InternaƟ onal Business Development: Drive market penetraƟ on in internaƟ onal O&G
markets, managing the complexiƟ es of import/export processes, legal compliance, and
diverse regulatory environments.
Proposal & Contract NegoƟ aƟ on: Lead the enƟ re tender and proposal life cycle, from inquiry
analysis and design approvals to complex price negoƟ aƟ ons and final contract execuƟ on.
Market Intelligence & ReporƟ ng: Stay abreast of industry trends, compeƟ tor acƟ viƟ es, and
new technological advancements in O&G filtraƟ on, providing regular, detailed sales forecasts
and performance reports to senior management.
Required QualificaƟ ons and Skills
EducaƟ on: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical is required.
Experience: 5 - 7 years of proven, hands-on experience in business development or technical
sales within the Oil & Gas or a related heavy industrial sector, with a specific focus on
filtraƟ on, separaƟ on, or related process equipment sales.
Domain ExperƟ se: Deep technical knowledge of separaƟ on processes, including clarificaƟ on,
membrane separaƟ on, and associated equipment applicaƟ on within refinery or plant
environments is essenƟ al.
CommunicaƟ on & NegoƟ aƟ on: ExcepƟ onal presentaƟ on, communicaƟ on, and negoƟ aƟ on
skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers in a techno-commercial capacity.
Mobility: Ability to travel extensively (both domesƟ cally and internaƟ onally) as required to
visit client sites, aƩ end industry conferences, and manage internaƟ onal business operaƟ ons.
SoŌ ware Proficiency: Proficient in CRM soŌ ware for sales management and tracking, and
standard MS Office suite applicaƟ ons.
