About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Electrical Projects who can handle qualified client leads, understand their electrical requirements, prepare quotations, and support the conversion of projects.

This is not a cold-calling role. Leads will be initially discussed by the management team and then shared with the candidate for further client communication and business conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle qualified leads and understand client requirements.

• Communicate with clients and provide suitable electrical solutions.

• Prepare quotations based on BOQs and vendor rates.

• Coordinate with vendors/internal teams for pricing and technical details.

• Discuss equipment specifications, pricing, and quotations with clients.

• Handle client follow-ups and commercial negotiations.

• Use electrical knowledge to support technical and price negotiations.

• Coordinate the sales process from enquiry to project conversion.

• Attend client meetings when required for final discussions and negotiations.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or a related electrical/electrical-project field.

• Candidates with relevant electrical knowledge and experience in electrical projects, equipment, sales, or contracting will be preferred.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in electrical sales, business development, project sales, client handling, or a related field is preferred.

• Freshers with good communication skills and strong electrical knowledge are also welcome to apply.

• Basic to good knowledge of electrical equipment and electrical project requirements.

• Good communication and client-handling skills.

• Ability to understand BOQs, quotations, equipment specifications, and vendor pricing.

• Good negotiation, follow-up, and convincing skills.

• Ability to communicate with clients professionally and build good business relationships.

• Candidates should be comfortable with occasional client visits when required.

• Must have a personal laptop and a stable internet connection for WFH.

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month

• Performance Incentive: Additional incentive based on individual performance and business performance.

• Client Conversion Incentive: Additional incentive for successfully converting eligible client/project opportunities.

• Primarily Work From Home.

• Occasional travel to client offices may be required for final negotiations or important meetings.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to understand electrical requirements, communicate confidently with clients, prepare quotations, understand equipment and pricing, negotiate effectively, and help convert qualified leads into business.

Important

This position is primarily office-based and does not require independent client visits at the initial stage. The candidate will mainly be responsible for calling, lead generation, client communication, fixing meetings, taking project briefs and follow-ups.
