Job Description: Relationship Manager
About the Role : We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Relationship Manager to drive investment product sales and deliver advisory support to clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mutual funds, insurance, and wealth management products, along with strong communication skills to provide product presentations and guide clients through financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Promote and sell a range of investment products including mutual funds, insurance, and other financial instruments.
• Provide tailored investment advice based on clients’ financial goals, risk appetite, and portfolio requirements.
• Conduct effective product presentations and explain investment options clearly to clients.
• Assist clients with KYC documentation, onboarding processes, and compliance formalities.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and follow-up activities.
• Stay updated with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in mutual funds, insurance, or financial advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, and compliance norms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• NISM / IRDA certifications (if applicable).
• Prior experience in customer relationship roles within BFSI sector.
