The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the company. The role involves vendor management, price negotiation, purchase order management, and ensuring timely procurement while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
🛒 Procurement & Purchasing
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
Prepare and process purchase orders as per company requirements.
Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
📊 Vendor Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Compare vendor quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain vendor records.
📦 Inventory Coordination
Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to monitor stock levels.
Ensure materials are purchased according to demand and inventory requirements.
Avoid shortages or overstocking of materials.
💰 Cost Control & Negotiation
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to obtain the best value.
Track market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
📑 Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
🤝 Internal Coordination
Work closely with production, finance, and logistics teams.
Resolve supply-related issues and ensure smooth operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
1–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles
Experience with ERP procurement modules
Knowledge of inventory management systems
Experience in manufacturing, trading, or supply chain industries
