We are looking for a Purchase Executive to join our team at at Br Mep Engineers Private Limited. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building long-lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven record of closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Purchase Order Processing
Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) as per requirements
Verify specifications, quantities, and pricing before approval
Track order status and ensure timely delivery
2. Vendor Coordination
Communicate with suppliers for quotations, delivery timelines, and product details
Maintain good relationships with vendors
Follow up on pending orders and resolve supply issues
3. Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain procurement records, invoices, and contracts
Update purchase registers and databases
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies
4. Material Planning & Support
Assist in identifying material requirements from different departments/sites
Coordinate with store/site teams for stock availability
Help avoid shortages or overstocking
5. Price Comparison & Analysis
Collect quotations from multiple vendors
Prepare comparative statements (CS)
Assist in selecting cost-effective suppliers
6. Inventory Coordination
Monitor inventory levels and reorder when needed
Coordinate with warehouse/store for material receipt and verification
7. Invoice & Payment Follow-up
Verify supplier invoices against POs and delivery notes
Coordinate with accounts for timely payment processing
8. Compliance & Quality Checks
Ensure procured materials meet required specifications and quality standards
Follow company procurement policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 5 - 6 years of experience. Applicants should have strong negotiation skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
