Position Overview:
We are looking for a Sales / Pre-Sales Engineer to support our business development initiatives. The selected candidate will be responsible for generating leads, understanding client requirements, promoting technical products, and coordinating with the internal estimation and execution teams to deliver customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage potential clients through direct visits, referrals, and inquiry platforms such as IndiaMart
* Promote company products and services by presenting solutions tailored to client needs
* Coordinate with internal teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals
* Follow up on quotations, manage client queries, and close sales
* Maintain sales records, lead trackers, and activity reports using Excel or CRM tools
* Submit daily and monthly reports to the Sales Manager
* Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings
Required Skills and Competencies:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Basic technical knowledge of electrical panels, switchgear, and industrial systems (training can be provided)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and documentation
* Target-driven with a proactive approach to client engagement
* Ability to travel for client visits across the region
* Familiarity with sales CRM tools and digital inquiry handling platforms is desirable
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
* Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in field sales or technical sales in the electrical or manufacturing domain
Work Schedule and Benefits:
* Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
* Work Days: Monday to Saturday (Sunday off)
* Travel: Required for client meetings
* Incentives: Performance-based
