Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, meetings and lead generation.
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
· Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activities. Prepare database for potential clients.
· Handle business enquiries generated through Justdial/web portal/social media or phone.
· Handle Email, SMS, WhatsApp and social media communication
· Prepare and present proposal/quote to potential clients.
· Prepare and submit bid documents such as at GEMS portal
· Present and demonstrate logistics services to potential clients.
· Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
· Collaborate with management, suppliers, marketing and product teams to align sales strategies.
· Attend client, corporate meetings, industry events and trade shows to promote services and gather market intelligence.
· Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.
· Provide feedback to management on customer needs and preferences.
Candidate requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· 2+ years of experience in Marketing, logistics sales or business development, preferably in the courier, cargo, e-commerce logistics, freight or transportation industry.
· Strong understanding of logistics processes and SCM.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
· Valid four-wheeler driver’s license (desirable)
