Sales Insurance Advisor

We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and goal-oriented Health Insurance Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as a trusted intermediary between our company and individuals, families, or businesses looking for medical coverage. Your primary objective is to evaluate client needs, explain complex policy options in simple terms, and guide clients toward the most suitable health insurance plans. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Responsibilities

• Unbiased Advisory: Compare and present various health plans across multiple insurance companies to find the best premium-to-feature ratio for clients.

• Lead Generation: Build a steady pipeline of prospects through local networking, digital leads, references, and community mapping.

• Needs Portfolio Mapping: Analyze specific client priorities like pre-existing disease (PED) waiting periods, room rent caps, co-payments, and restoration benefits.

• Documentation & Compliance: Manage data entry on multi-insurer portals and strictly adhere to IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) guidelines.

• Claims Advocacy: Serve as the client's single point of contact during medical emergencies to coordinate with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and ease cashless hospitalizations.

• Portability Management: Help clients switch existing policies seamlessly via the IRDAI portability process without losing continuity benefits.
  
  Experience: 2–4 years in insurance sales (Health, Life, or General), banking, or financial services is highly preferred. Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome.
