Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented GeM Sales Executive to manage and expand business opportunities through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for identifying government procurement opportunities, handling bid/Tender submissions, Customer Visit ,coordinating with customers, and ensuring successful lead Generation.
Key Responsibilities
GeM Sales & Business Development
Search, identify, and analyse relevant bids, .
Generate business opportunities from Central Government, State Government, PSUs, Defence, Education, and other government departments.
Develop and maintain relationships with government buyers and procurement officials.
Ensure all bid submissions comply with tender requirements and GeM guidelines.
Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and delivery.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of GeM Portal operations.
Understanding of Government Tendering and Procurement Processes.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of IT Products, AV Solutions, Smart Boards, Networking, Servers, and related technologies will be an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in GeM Sales, Government Tendering, or Institutional Sales.
