Job Responsibilities
Installation of fire-fighting piping systems at project sites.
Pipe cutting, fitting, alignment, threading and jointing.
Installation of pipe supports, clamps, hangers and related components.
Reading and understanding basic fire-fighting drawings and measurements.
Carrying out pipe installation as per drawings and site requirements.
Dismantling, modification and repair of fire-fighting pipelines when required.
Ensure proper alignment, level and quality of pipe installation.
Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for daily site activities.
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Follow site safety rules and use required PPE.
Complete assigned work within the given timeline.
Maintain daily work records and report completed work to the supervisor.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of pipe fitting and fire-fighting piping work.
Knowledge of pipe measurements, threading and jointing.
Ability to understand basic drawings.
Good workmanship and attention to detail.
Ability to work at project sites and follow instructions.
Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE.
Mandatory Qualification
ITI Certificate in Fitter Trade is mandatory.
