We are looking for a dynamic and empathetic Education Counsellor to guide and assist students in making informed decisions about their undergraduate and postgraduate education paths. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of educational trends, and the ability to guide students through the application, admission, and career-planning processes.
Student Counseling:
Provide one-on-one and group counseling to prospective students (and parents) regarding UG & PG course options, admission requirements, career outcomes, and institutional choices.
Lead Management:
Follow up on inquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings. Convert leads into successful enrollments.
Course Matching:
Understand students’ academic background, interests, and career goals to suggest the most appropriate UG/PG programs.
Admission Guidance:
Assist students with application forms, documentation, and timelines. Help with SOP writing, interview preparation, and scholarship applications where applicable.
Knowledge Management:
Stay up to date with domestic and international education trends, institutions, courses, and admission procedures.
CRM/Database Maintenance:
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and application status using CRM software or spreadsheets.
Events & Outreach:
Represent the organization at education fairs, school/college visits, webinars, and seminars.
Collaboration:
Work closely with academic teams, marketing, and admissions departments to ensure a smooth counseling and onboarding process.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related fields.
Proven experience (or strong interest) in education counseling or student advisory roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Empathetic, patient, and approachable personality.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
Familiarity with admissions to Indian and/or international universities.
Experience working with EdTech platforms, coaching centers, or overseas education consultancies.
