Job Summary:
The Guest Relation Executive (GRE) is responsible for providing a warm, friendly, and welcoming experience to every guest entering the restaurant. As a host, the GRE will greet, seat, and ensure that each guest feels valued and attended to throughout their visit. This role is essential in creating a memorable guest experience that aligns with our brand’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting Guests:
Warmly greet guests as they enter the restaurant, making them feel welcomed and valued.
Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanour while making eye contact and using a cheerful tone.
Seating Guests:
Efficiently manage the seating area by directing guests to their tables promptly and ensuring they are comfortably seated.
Monitor table availability and maintain a waiting list during peak hours to manage guest flow.
Assisting with Guest Needs:
Be attentive to guests’ needs, including providing menu assistance and answering any queries regarding the food and services offered.
Assist in providing high chairs, wheelchair access, and other specific needs to accommodate all guests.
Ensuring Guest Delight:
Engage with guests during their visit, ensuring that they have a delightful experience. Gather feedback and handle minor complaints politely and promptly, escalating issues to the Shift Manager if needed.
Offer friendly farewells and invite guests to return as they leave the restaurant.
Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:
Ensure the dining and waiting areas are clean and organized at all times.
Regularly check and maintain the hygiene of high-contact areas, such as the entrance, waiting area, and menus.
Coordinating with the Team:
Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless flow of orders and table turnovers.
Update the team on any special guest requirements or reservations.
Promotional Activities:
Actively inform guests about any ongoing promotions or offers and encourage them to try new items or upgrade their orders.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Graduate in any field, hospitality courses or certifications are a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a QSR or fast-paced environment.
