Sales Career Counsellor

• Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions

• Develop and deliver career workshops and presentations

• Assess clients' interests, skills, values, and personality to identify career goals and options

• Provide information on education and training programs, job search strategies, and job market trends

• Refer clients to community resources and support services as needed

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client sessions and progress

• Stay current on career development theories and practices and industry trends

• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement programs and initiatives that support clients' career success

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Career Counselor Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Certification in Career Counseling or a related professional area.

• Experience in educational or career advising environments.

• Strong knowledge of local and national job markets.

• Proficiency in using career assessment tools and software.

• Exceptional presentation and workshop facilitation skills.

• Experience with resume writing and job application processes.

• Skills in networking and employer engagement.

• Experience with diverse populations and understanding of multicultural competencies.

• Bachelor's degree in Career Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in career counseling

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to effectively assess client needs and develop individualized career plans

• Knowledge of job search strategies, education and training programs, and community resources

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Commitment to client-centered, strengths-based approaches to career counseling

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of client information

• It is a Both Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
