Fundraising Coordinator
About SNEHA
SNEHA is a Mumbai-based non-profit with over 450 staff dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of women and children in urban informal settlements. We use a life-cycle approach to address critical health needs from adolescence to family planning. Our programs, including Maternal and Child Health, Violence Prevention, and Livelihood Generation, are designed to empower communities and partner with public health systems for lasting change.
The Role
We're looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to join our team and help execute SNEHA’s fundraising plan. This role involves actively engaging with prospective and current donors, managing donor relationships, and coordinating with various internal teams. You will be a key player in securing both program and non-program funding to support our vital work.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 3-4 years of experience who is passionate about making a difference and is ready to take initiative.
Key Responsibilities

  • Donor Engagement & Fundraising: Reach out to prospective donors (CSR leads, foundations, HNIs), plan and execute fundraising events, and manage retail fundraising campaigns.

  • Proposal & Documentation: Support program teams in completing online proposal submissions and other donor documentation.

  • Donor Management: Maintain and update data within our donor management system and generate reports.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate donor site visits and coordinate with internal teams for proposal submissions and reports.

Profile Snapshot

  • Education: Post-graduate degree (MSW or a development sector-focused degree is preferred).

  • Experience: 3-4 years of work experience in the services industry or development sector.

  • Location: Santacruz

  • Reports to: Fundraising Manager.

  • Traits: Proactive, results-oriented, a problem-solver with strong communication and analytical skills.
