Key Responsibilities
Sales Target Achievement: Drive and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for financial and insurance products (e.g., life/general insurance, credit cards).
Channel & Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of insurance advisors/agents, and drive sales productivity across the agency channel.
Stakeholder Relations: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with State Bank of India branch managers, corporate clients, and customers to ensure a high-quality lead pipeline.
Product Pitching & Client Acquisition: Identify new business opportunities, conduct field visits, and deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to customer financial needs.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all sales, documentation, and KYC protocols strictly comply with banking and insurance regulatory standards.
Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies and improve competitive positioning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
Experience: Typically 1 to 6 years of proven experience in field sales, banking, or the insurance/financial services sector.
Skills: Strong negotiation, team leadership, and excellent communication skills.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of insurance products, investment options, and banking channels.
