Business Development Manager (BDM)

Location: 54, Sector 72A, Sector 72, Gurugram, Haryana 122001
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month + Attractive Incentives
Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years
Industry: Marble, Tiles, Sanitary Ware, Plywood

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in any one or more of the following industries: Tiles, Sanitary Ware, Marble, or Plywood. This industry experience is mandatory.

The candidate will be responsible for generating revenue through both walk-in customers and business development activities, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle walk-in customers at the marble yard/showroom and convert inquiries into sales.

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, contractors, builders, dealers, and interior designers.

  • Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.

  • Follow up on leads and inquiries to maximize conversions.

  • Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales deals.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

  • Represent the company professionally and contribute to overall business growth.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Tiles, Sanitary Ware, Marble, or Plywood industry.

  • Proven track record in sales and business development.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.

  • Ability to manage showroom sales as well as field/business development activities.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused approach.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

  • Strong sales closing and negotiation skills.

  • Good understanding of building materials and interior/exterior product applications.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
