Business Development Manager

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO :

Drive business generation, client acquisition and recurring bookings for a premium photography studio catering to fashion photographers, brands, creative directors, advertising agencies and production houses.

Key KRAs :

• Generate new business and achieve monthly revenue targets.

• Build and maintain a strong network of photographers, brands, agencies, creative directors and production houses.

• Generate qualified leads through direct outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, Instagram and industry connections.

• Convert leads into studio bookings and recurring accounts.

• Increase studio occupancy and booking frequency.

• Develop long-term relationships with brands and agencies for repeat shoots.

• Identify and develop strategic partnerships and collaborations.

• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and regular follow-ups.

• Track leads, meetings, conversions, bookings and revenue through CRM/Excel.

• Understand competitor activity, market demand and new business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

• 3–7 years of experience in Business Development / Sales / Client Servicing / Partnerships.

• Experience in photography, fashion, advertising, creative agencies, media, production or luxury/lifestyle brands preferred.

• Strong existing network in the creative, fashion and advertising industry.

• Excellent communication, networking, negotiation and closing skills.

• Proactive, target-driven and strong at relationship building.

• Comfortable with cold outreach and creating business independently.

• Good understanding of social media, digital outreach and CRM.

Most Important Requirement

We are looking for a business generator, not just an enquiry handler.

The candidate should be capable of bringing new clients, new bookings and recurring business to the studio.

For the recruitment agency, I would make “existing network in fashion / advertising / creative industry” a key screening criterion rather than treating it as just an advantage.
