Position: Business Development Manager – Packaging Manufacturing
Role Objective:
To drive business growth by acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence in the packaging manufacturing segment (Paper & Poly Packaging, flexible packaging, rigid packaging, or customized solutions).
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities across FMCG, pharma, retail, e-commerce, and industrial sectors
Generate leads through cold calling, meetings, exhibitions, and referrals
Understand client packaging requirements and propose customized solutions, Visit Meetings.
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain CRM and sales reports
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills
Knowledge of packaging materials, printing, and manufacturing processes
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Client-centric and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Comfortable with field sales and client meetings
Experience & Qualification:
2–5 years of experience in B2B sales (preferably packaging manufacturing)
Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred
Experience with FMCG, Paper Packaging and allied industries.
