Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager – API Sales to drive enterprise growth across the Banking and Financial Services ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B enterprise sales, specifically selling API-driven or technology solutions to large institutions.
This role demands a consultative selling approach, strong solutioning capability, and the ability to manage the complete sales lifecycle — from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and acquire enterprise clients across Banking, NBFCs, Fintech, and Capital Markets segments.
Drive end-to-end B2B enterprise sales cycle — lead generation, qualification, solution pitching, commercial negotiation, and closure.
Pitch API-based products and technology solutions to CXOs, Product Heads, CTOs, and Business Heads.
Understand client business challenges and position API solutions as scalable, revenue-driven offerings.
Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Collaborate with Product and Tech teams for customized solutioning and successful implementation.
Manage pipeline, sales forecasting, and CRM reporting effectively.
Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value enterprise contracts.
Required Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, preferably in API, SaaS, or fintech solutions.
Strong network within Banking, NBFC, Fintech, or Capital Markets ecosystem.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Experience handling large enterprise accounts and long sales cycles.
Strong understanding of API-driven products and digital financial solutions.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
