"APC channel" refers to the Agency Partner Channel (APC), a distribution model where individuals or firms act as partners to recruit, train, and manage networks of insurance advisors and agents to sell policies. Job responsibilities typically involve recruiting and developing these partners and advisors, driving sales performance and business targets, ensuring regulatory compliance, coaching the team, and maintaining business reports.

Key Responsibilities in an APC Role:

Recruitment: Identifying and bringing on board potential Agency Partners (APs), who in turn recruit and manage their own teams of advisors and agents.

Team Management & Development: Coaching, mentoring, and developing the skills and performance of Agency Partners and their appointed advisors.

Sales Performance: Driving new business and renewal targets for the overall channel by implementing sales promotions and strategies.

Business & Compliance: Ensuring the channel operates within IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority) guidelines and maintaining accurate business reports and MIS (Management Information Systems).

Relationship Management: Building and fostering strong relationships with the network of partners to enhance the distribution of insurance products.

Market Knowledge: Understanding market conditions and developing strategies to adapt to the competitive landscape
