Job Description – SMS Sales Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented SMS Sales Executive to join our sales team. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, acquiring clients, promoting Bulk SMS and messaging solutions, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new leads and identify potential B2B clients for Bulk SMS services.

Make outbound calls, email prospects, and conduct regular follow-ups.

Understand client requirements and recommend suitable SMS/messaging solutions.

Sell Bulk SMS, Promotional SMS, Transactional SMS, OTP and API-based messaging solutions.

Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.

Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and convert leads into paying customers.

Manage existing client relationships and generate repeat business.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, client discussions, and sales activities.

Coordinate with the technical/support team for client onboarding, API integration, delivery issues, and other requirements.

Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to identify new business opportunities.

Ensure timely payment follow-ups from clients wherever required.

Required Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong sales and negotiation skills.

Good convincing and client-handling abilities.

Experience in Bulk SMS, DLT, SMS API, WhatsApp Business API, RCS or other CPaaS/messaging solutions will be an advantage.

Basic knowledge of B2B sales and lead generation.

Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools.

Good spoken and written English and Hindi.

Preferred Candidate

Experience in Bulk SMS / CPaaS / Telecom / Digital Marketing / SaaS sales.

Candidates with an existing B2B client network or experience in acquiring corporate clients will be preferred.

Target-oriented and self-motivated individuals.
