JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for enthusiastic, ambitious, and result-driven individuals to join our team as Business Development Interns. If you enjoy talking to people, building relationships, and contributing to business growth, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Intern, you'll play an important role in expanding AppZime's client base and supporting the sales team throughout the business development process.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Researching and identifying potential clients through LinkedIn, company databases, online directories, and other lead-generation platforms.
● Generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads through LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, cold calling, and other prospecting methods.
● Connecting with decision-makers, introducing AppZime's services, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
● Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
● Maintaining accurate CRM records, updating lead trackers, and preparing regular sales reports to monitor outreach performance.
● Assisting in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, pitch decks, and client documentation.
● Following up with prospects, addressing initial queries, and building professional relationships throughout the sales cycle.
● Collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and successful project execution.
Eligibility Criteria
We're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to build a career in sales and business development.
Ideal Candidate:
● Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
● Genuine interest in business development, sales, client relationship management, and B2B marketing.
● Basic familiarity with LinkedIn, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM tools is an added advantage.
● Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced startup environment.
● Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team while meeting deadlines.
