We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Overseas Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new international business opportunities, building strong relationships with overseas partners and clients, and driving revenue growth in global markets.
Develop and manage business relationships with overseas agents, partners, and customers.
Identify new markets and opportunities to expand the company’s global footprint in freight forwarding and logistics.
Coordinate with international clients to understand shipping requirements and offer tailored logistics solutions.
Prepare and negotiate quotations, proposals, and contracts for import/export freight services.
Collaborate closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Maintain regular communication with global partners to ensure alignment on shipments, pricing, and service performance.
Conduct market research to analyze global trade trends and competitor activities.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
Strong understanding of international trade, shipping terms (Incoterms), and freight operations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships across different regions.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
