We are looking for a Bid Manager to join our team at at Aton Network Private Limited. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building long-lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven record of closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender Identification & Qualification
Identify relevant Government, PSU, Banking, Defence and Private-sector tenders/RFPs.
Review tender requirements, eligibility criteria, scope of work, timelines and commercial conditions.
Conduct Bid / No-Bid analysis based on technical, commercial and business feasibility.
Track tender deadlines, corrigenda, pre-bid meetings and submission requirements.
2. Bid Planning & Strategy
Prepare a detailed Bid Plan / Bid Calendar.
Define responsibilities and deadlines for Sales, Presales, Technical, Finance, Legal and OEM/Vendor teams.
Develop the overall bid strategy in coordination with management.
Identify key risks, dependencies and compliance requirements.
3. Tender Documentation
Prepare and maintain:
Technical compliance matrix
Commercial compliance matrix
Eligibility documents
OEM authorization / MAF
Technical datasheets
Local Content Certificate
Country of Origin Certificate
Undertakings and declarations
Experience certificates
Financial documents
EMD/BG/PBG-related documents
Ensure all documents are properly signed, stamped and submitted in the required format.
4. OEM & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with OEMs, distributors and technology partners for:
OEM authorization
Pricing
Technical specifications
Compliance statements
Certificates
Product licenses
Support details
Local content information
Follow up continuously for pending documents and quotations.
Negotiate commercial terms with vendors where required.
5. Technical Bid Management
Coordinate with Presales/Technical teams to prepare the technical proposal.
Map every tender requirement against the proposed solution.
Prepare a clause-by-clause compliance matrix.
Identify deviations and obtain internal approval before submission.
Ensure the proposed solution meets mandatory technical requirements.
Portal Management
Manage bid submission through platforms such as:
GeM
CPPP
State Government e-procurement portals
PSU/bank tender portals
Upload documents in the correct format and size.
Ensure digital signatures, declarations and forms are correctly completed.
Perform a final submission check before the deadline.
7. Pre-Bid & Clarifications
Prepare and submit pre-bid queries/clarifications.
Coordinate with technical and OEM teams to formulate questions.
Attend/coordinate pre-bid meetings.
Track responses and incorporate clarifications/corrigenda into the bid.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 3 years of experience. Applicants should have strong negotiation skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
