Backend Executive

Job description

Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Engineering

• Study customer specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to understand HVAC system requirements

• Select appropriate blowers, fans, and accessories based on airflow, static pressure, efficiency, noise, and operating conditions

• Perform technical calculations and ensure compliance with relevant HVAC standards and codes

• Support customers and sales teams with technical clarifications and system recommendations

Quotation & Costing

• Prepare accurate techno-commercial quotations for HVAC equipment

• Coordinate with procurement, production, and finance teams to obtain costing, lead time, and commercial inputs

• Optimize product selection to meet performance requirements and cost targets

• Maintain pricing templates and ensure consistency with company policies

Proposal & Documentation

• Prepare complete technical and commercial proposals, including:

• Technical specifications

• Performance data and fan curves

• Compliance statements

• Scope of supply and exclusions

• Ensure proposals align with tender requirements and customer expectations

• Support bid submissions within defined timelines

Backend & Coordination

• Maintain records of quotations, proposals, and revisions

• Support internal systems related to product configuration, pricing, and documentation

• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams for order finalization

• Assist in post-order activities including technical clarifications and drawing approvals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• 2–6+ years of experience in HVAC application engineering, preferably in fans and blowers

• Hands-on experience in quotation preparation and proposal making

• Strong understanding of:

• Centrifugal & axial fans, blowers

• Airflow, static pressure, fan laws, acoustics

• HVAC system design principles

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and engineering calculation tools

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 6 months - 3 years of experience.
