Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales and Marketing Industry: Rigid Plastic Packaging Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Job Overview: The Assistant Manager - Sales and Marketing will play a crucial role in driving the business development initiatives within the pharmaceutical packaging sector. The role focuses on identifying, approaching, and nurturing new mid-level customers, creating inquiries, and supporting lead generation for senior sales team members. This position will also assist in building strategic relationships with major OEMs and MNC clients, ensuring consistent revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: • New Customer Acquisition: Identify and approach potential mid-level customers within the pharmaceutical industry, presenting product offerings and creating new business inquiries. • Lead Generation: Generate leads and set up meetings with major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Multinational Corporations (MNCs) for the team leaders and senior management. • Sales Strategy Implementation: Assist in developing and executing sales strategies aligned with the company's business goals and revenue targets. • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. • Sales Research: Provide support to the sales team by gathering market intelligence, assisting with proposal development, and preparing relevant presentations. • Marketing: Collaborate with the team to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at driving customer engagement and inquiry generation. • Reporting and Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on sales activities, lead conversions, and customer feedback, providing actionable insights. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as production and supply chain to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction. Basic Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. • 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the rigid plastic packaging or pharmaceutical packaging industry. • Proven track record of lead generation and client acquisition. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior team members. • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software.
