Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Executive to drive sales and business development activities for our solar energy solutions within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and achieving sales targets for rooftop solar and related energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial solar segments.
Generate leads through field visits, networking, and channel partners.
Promote rooftop solar solutions and other renewable energy products.
Client Relationship Management
Meet potential customers to understand their energy requirements.
Provide product presentations and explain the benefits of solar solutions.
Build long-term relationships with clients, installers, and distributors.
Channel Partner Development
Identify and onboard dealers, installers, EPC partners, and distributors.
Support channel partners in generating leads and closing sales.
Sales Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Track sales pipeline and provide regular reports to management.
Site Assessment & Coordination
Conduct initial site visits and coordinate with the technical team for feasibility.
Support the project team during installation and commissioning.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Provide feedback to management for strategy improvements.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain sales records, customer database, and CRM updates.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
Required Skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Knowledge of solar rooftop systems (preferred)
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently in field sales
Strong relationship management ability
Basic understanding of electrical systems (added advantage)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy preferred
Preferred Experience
1–5 years of experience in solar sales, electrical products, EPC, energy solutions, or industrial sales
Experience in B2B and B2C field sales

Fixed Salary + Sales Incentives + Travel Allowance (as per company policy)
