*ASM (Area Sales Manager) Mumbai*
Job description:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing key accounts within the HoReCa segment for kitchenware and cutlery products. The role involves developing strong relationships with hotels, restaurants, caterers, distributors, and institutional buyers while ensuring achievement of sales targets and brand positioning.
*Key Responsibilities*
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned territory
Identify and onboard new HoReCa clients, including hotels, restaurants, cloud kitchens, and catering businesses
Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts
Appoint, train, and manage distributors/dealers in the region
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and trials for chefs and purchase teams
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit cycles
Collaborate with marketing teams for promotions, exhibitions, and brand activities
Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline tracking
Provide feedback on product development based on market needs
*Key Requirements*
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
*4–8 years of sales experience, preferably in HoReCa, kitchenware, cutlery, or hospitality* supplies
Strong network within *hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses*
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage a territory
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
