About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and self-motivated Area Sales Manager to lead our pharmaceutical sales operations from the Lucknow Headquarters. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent market knowledge, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets while managing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate Medical Representatives to maximize productivity.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and key opinion leaders.
Conduct regular field visits and joint work with Medical Representatives.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
Ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and product launches.
Prepare sales reports, market analysis, and territory performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical marketing practices, and industry regulations.
Coordinate with the marketing and management teams to drive business growth.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, or any graduate discipline (B.Pharm/B.Sc. preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 1 year in a team-handling role.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
Good analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
