Admission Counsellor

1. Student Counselling and Guidance

• Counsel prospective students (and parents) about academic programs, courses, admission requirements, and career outcomes.

• Assess students’ interests, goals, and academic background to recommend suitable programs.

• Guide students through the application, admission, and enrollment process.

2. Lead Management and Follow-Up

• Handle inbound inquiries via calls, emails, walk-ins, and online forms.

• Maintain and update the student database/CRM with accurate and timely information.

• Follow up with leads to convert inquiries into admissions.

3. Admission Process Coordination

• Assist students in filling out application forms, collecting documents, and meeting admission deadlines.

• Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for smooth onboarding.

• Verify eligibility and ensure all admission documentation is complete.

4. Outreach and Promotion

• Participate in educational fairs, school visits, and promotional events.

• Conduct information sessions, webinars, and workshops to promote programs.

• Build relationships with schools, counsellors, and other institutions for referral generation.

5. Communication and Customer Service

• Provide accurate information about courses, fees, scholarships, and campus life.

• Respond promptly to queries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

• Maintain a professional and empathetic approach while handling student concerns.

6. Reporting and Performance Tracking

• Achieve individual and team admission targets.

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on inquiries, conversions, and admissions.

• Analyze student feedback and recommend process improvements.

7. Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the marketing and academic teams to align admission strategies.

• Contribute ideas to enhance student engagement and retention.
