Job Summary
An Education Counselor guides students in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths. The role involves counseling prospective students, explaining educational programs, assisting with admissions processes, and maintaining strong relationships with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students regarding educational courses, programs, and career opportunities.
Assess students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals.
Provide information about admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
Assist students with application forms, documentation, and enrollment processes.
Follow up with prospective students through calls, emails, and meetings.
Address student and parent queries professionally and promptly.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications.
Achieve admission and enrollment targets set by the organization.
Coordinate with academic institutions and internal teams when required.
Conduct seminars, webinars, and educational workshops for prospective students.
Stay updated on educational trends, courses, universities, and career opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Experience in education counseling, admissions, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
Fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also apply.

Ability to build trust and rapport with students and parents.

Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Experience
1–5 years of experience in educational counseling, student recruitment, or admissions.
Knowledge of domestic and/or international education systems.
