Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students throughout the admission process, providing accurate information, and helping them choose the right educational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle student inquiries (telephonic, walk-ins, and online).

• Counsel students regarding courses, career options, and admission procedures.

• Provide detailed information about colleges, universities, and programs.

• Convert leads into admissions by building rapport and understanding student needs.

• Maintain follow-up with prospective students through calls, emails, and messages.

• Keep records of student interactions and update CRM or tracking systems.

• Coordinate with internal teams for documentation and enrollment processes.

• Participate in admission drives, seminars, and promotional activities.

• Meet monthly admission and conversion targets.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build trust and handle student queries maturely.

• Strong convincing and presentation skills.

• Basic knowledge of education systems, courses, and admission processes (preferred).

• Proactive attitude and ability to work under target-driven environments.

• Good organizational and follow-up abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education, Counseling, or Management background preferred).

• Experience in the education or counseling domain is a plus, but freshers with strong communication skills are welcome.
