Job Summary

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring that all goods are stored safely and efficiently. The role supports smooth business operations by maintaining optimal stock levels and following company inventory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.

• Store goods in an organized, safe, and accessible manner.

• Issue materials and products according to approved requests.

• Maintain accurate inventory records using registers or inventory software.

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations.

• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

• Ensure the store area is clean, secure, and compliant with safety standards.

• Coordinate with the purchasing and operations teams for stock replenishment.

• Follow company policies and inventory control procedures.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.

• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory management software).

• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to handle and lift materials when required.
