Operational and administrative tasks

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening, closing, and floor supervision.

• Handle cash and manage point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• Implement and maintain safety and security protocols to prevent loss.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely stock delivery.

• Manage logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Perform periodic maintenance and cleaning to keep the store safe and functional. 

Inventory and stock management

• Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy.

• Keep accurate records of all stock and inventory transactions.

• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits.

• Process and document the receiving, storing, and issuing of materials.

• Organize stockrooms for efficient storage and retrieval.

• Track and manage stock that is expiring. 

Staff and customer management

• Supervise, train, and schedule store staff.

• Conduct performance evaluations for employees.

• Address customer complaints and ensure a positive customer experience.

• Motivate staff to achieve sales targets.

• Ensure all staff are trained on products, policies, and customer handling.
