Position: Store Incharge
Department: Spare Parts / Stores
Location: TVS Authorized Two-Wheeler Service Centre, Parel, Mumbai
Reporting To: Service Manager / General Manager
Job Summary
The Store Incharge is responsible for the overall management and control of the automobile spare parts store. The role involves inventory management, stock control, parts issuance, record maintenance, procurement coordination, and ensuring the availability of spare parts required for smooth workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records of all spare parts and consumables.
Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate availability of fast-moving items.
Conduct periodic stock verification and physical inventory audits.
Minimize inventory discrepancies and stock losses.
Goods Receipt & Storage
Receive spare parts and materials from suppliers.
Verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and invoices.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of spare parts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
Parts Issue & Control
Issue spare parts to technicians and workshop staff as per authorized requirements.
Maintain proper documentation of all inward and outward movements.
Ensure timely availability of spare parts for service and repair jobs.
Monitor and control obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving stock.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain stock registers, GRNs, issue slips, and inventory records.
Update inventory data in the computer system/software.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Assist management in inventory planning and forecasting.
Coordination
Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, suppliers, and management.
Follow up on pending orders and urgent spare parts requirements.
Support smooth workshop operations by ensuring uninterrupted parts availability.
Qualification
B.Com Graduate or equivalent qualification.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, Email).
Knowledge of inventory management software will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in store operations.
Experience in automobile spare parts management preferred.

Salary
₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (depending on experience and skills).
