The Store Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of retail or food service locations. This role serves as a central point of contact between corporate/area management and individual stores, helping coordinate processes, communications, compliance, reporting, and resource management.
Assist in the coordination of store openings, closings, and renovations.
Ensure all stores follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and brand guidelines.
Support store managers with daily operational challenges and help escalate issues as needed.
Help manage and track equipment and supply requests across locations.
Collect and consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from stores (e.g., sales, inventory, customer feedback).
Analyze operational metrics and prepare summary reports for management.
Maintain databases and documentation for audits, health & safety compliance, and performance reviews.
Act as a liaison between corporate departments (e.g., HR, Finance, IT) and store teams.
Distribute operational updates, training materials, and policy changes to store teams.
Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and conference calls for store-level staff.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement or warehouse teams to prevent shortages or overstock.
Assist with stock transfers, returns, and inventory reconciliations.
Help track compliance with health & safety regulations, labor laws, and internal standards.
Support audit preparation and follow-up actions for stores.
Ensure stores maintain cleanliness, safety, and customer service standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in store operations, retail support, or administrative coordination.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with POS or retail systems a plus.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
