Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior International Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and procurement of spare parts and raw materials from international suppliers. The role is responsible for identifying reliable overseas vendors, obtaining and evaluating quotations, negotiating pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, and lead times to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
The candidate will coordinate shipment documentation, manage customs clearance requirements, track international shipments, and ensure timely delivery to the warehouse to support uninterrupted production operations. The role also involves inspecting received materials for quality and compliance, maintaining an approved vendor list, and ensuring adherence to company procurement policies and international trade regulations.
In addition, the position requires close coordination with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels and implement inventory optimization strategies such as ABC analysis, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and Just-in-Time (JIT) principles. The ideal candidate should be able to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve procurement processes, and contribute to overall supply chain efficiency.
