Job Title: Counter Sales Associate (Sales Boy / Sales Girl – Sweets & Snacks Outlet)

Job Summary

We are looking for energetic and customer-friendly Sales Associates for our sweets and snacks outlet. The role involves handling counter sales, assisting customers, packing food items hygienically, and maintaining store cleanliness while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Handling

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting sweets, snacks, and other products

• Explain product varieties, ingredients, and prices clearly

• Suggest add-on items and promote best-selling products

Counter Sales & Billing

• Handle counter sales efficiently during peak and non-peak hours

• Generate bills using POS machine / manual billing

• Collect cash, UPI, or card payments and ensure accurate transactions

• Maintain proper billing records

Packing & Food Handling

• Pack sweets, snacks, and bakery items neatly and hygienically

• Ensure correct weight and proper sealing of packets/boxes

• Handle food items using gloves and follow hygiene standards

• Prepare takeaway orders and bulk orders as per customer requirement

Store Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of counters, display areas, and store premises

• Arrange products attractively in display counters

• Regularly check product freshness and expiry

• Refill stock in display counters as required

Stock Support

• Assist in receiving stock and storing it properly

• Inform supervisor about low stock or fast-moving items

• Help in stock counting when required

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass

• Freshers or candidates with retail/food industry experience can apply

• Basic communication skills (Telugu/Hindi/English preferred)

• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and festivals

• Physically active (as the role involves standing for long hours)
