Retail Sales Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Generation:

  • Greet and engage customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable products.

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize basket size.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries effectively.

  • Handle returns, exchanges, and complaints professionally.

• Product Knowledge & Merchandising:

  • Stay updated on new products, offers, and promotions.

  • Ensure merchandise is well-stocked, displayed, and labeled correctly.

  • Monitor inventory levels and inform store manager of replenishment needs.

• Operational Excellence:

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store.

  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with company policies.

  • Support in periodic stock audits and physical inventory counts.

• Reporting:

  • Maintain daily sales records and report to the manager.

  • Share customer feedback and market trends with the team.
