Job Summary:
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily sales floor operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing sales staff, and achieving departmental sales targets. The role focuses on maintaining operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and driving showroom sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Monitor sales performance and motivate the team to maximize revenue.
Ensure effective upselling and cross-selling of jewellery products.
Support the sales team in closing high-value transactions.
Customer Service
Ensure customers receive a premium shopping experience.
Resolve customer concerns and escalations promptly.
Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.
Build strong relationships with repeat and VIP customers.
Team Supervision
Supervise and guide sales executives and support staff.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
Conduct daily floor briefings and sales updates.
Train and mentor employees on product knowledge and customer handling.
Floor Operations
Ensure smooth day-to-day showroom floor operations.
Maintain product displays, visual merchandising, and showroom cleanliness.
Monitor customer flow and allocate staff effectively.
Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
Inventory Management
Coordinate stock availability and replenishment.
Assist in stock verification and inventory audits.
Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of jewellery inventory.
Report discrepancies immediately to management.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare daily sales and performance reports.
Monitor billing activities and transaction accuracy.
Ensure compliance with security, safety, and audit requirements.
Support management during internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Retail management certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
3 to 7 years of experience in Jewellery Retail, Luxury Retail, or Retail Sales.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
