Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales & Field Sales Executive to handle both in-store customer sales and field sales activities. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers at the counter, generating new business through field visits, maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and supporting overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Counter Sales

• Attend to customers visiting the sales counter and understand their requirements.

• Explain products, features, prices, offers, and availability.

• Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and other necessary documents.

• Follow up with customers and convert enquiries into sales.

• Maintain proper records of customer enquiries and sales transactions.

• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive buying experience.

Field Sales

• Visit existing and prospective customers regularly to generate sales.

• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, retailers, contractors, businesses, and other customers.

• Generate leads through market visits, referrals, and networking.

• Present products and negotiate prices and commercial terms within company guidelines.

• Follow up on quotations, orders, payments, and deliveries.

• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Additional Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the warehouse, accounts, purchase, and delivery teams to ensure smooth order execution.

• Maintain daily sales and field-visit reports.

• Collect customer feedback and communicate market requirements to management.

• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments when required.

• Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, and sales campaigns.

• Perform other sales-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong customer-handling and negotiation abilities.

• Sales-oriented and target-driven approach.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office/CRM software.

• Good knowledge of the local market is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel for field visits.

• Valid driving licence and two-wheeler preferred.

Qualification: Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.

• Prior experience in counter sales, field sales, retail sales, B2B sales, or a related role will be an advantage.
