Eye Wear Sales Retail

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team at See Eye Wear to assist shoppers, provide product information, process transactions, and promote sales. The role requires a positive attitude and managing responsibilities like stocking shelves, managing transactions, and delivering excellent customer service. The role offers an in-hand salary of ₹15000 - ₹30000 with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform Comprehensive Eye Exams: Assess patient visual acuity, refractive errors, and overall ocular health using diagnostic equipment.

• Prescribe Corrective Lenses: Formulate accurate prescriptions for eyeglasses and specialize in fitting contact lenses.

• Identify & Refer Ocular Conditions: Detect signs of eye conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, or dry eye, and provide timely referrals to ophthalmologists.

• Counsel and Educate Patients: Explain exam findings, discuss lens options, and promote preventative eye care habits.

• Maintain Accurate Records: Update clinical records meticulously regarding patient histories, vision findings, and recommendations.

  Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institute or university.

• Licensure/Registration: Valid registration with the relevant state optometry council or clinical establishment board (where applicable).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard diagnostic tools (e.g., auto-refractor, phoropter, slit lamp) and basic medical record-keeping software.

• Soft Skills: Excellent bedside manner, strong active listening, and clear communication skills for diverse patient age groups.

• It is a Full Time Retail / Counter Sales job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
